How to Set Up Your Tecnolite Wi-Fi Smart Lock

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Unbox and Prepare the Lock

Remove the smart lock from its packaging and check that all components are included. Make sure you have the lock, screws, mounting plate, batteries, and installation manual.

Step 2: Install the Lock on Your Door

1. Remove the existing door lock (if applicable).
2. Attach the mounting plate to the door following the instruction manual.
3. Install the lock body and secure it with screws.
4. Insert batteries into the lock.

Step 3: Download and Open the Tecnolite App

Download the Tecnolite Smart Lock app from your device’s app store. Open the app and create or log in to your account.

Step 4: Connect the Lock to Wi-Fi

1. Open the app and select “Add Device”.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your lock to your Wi-Fi network.
3. Ensure your smartphone is close to the lock during setup.

Step 5: Configure Lock Settings

Set up your preferred access method, such as password, fingerprint, or mobile app unlock. You can also manage user permissions for family members or staff.

Step 6: Test Your Smart Lock

After setup, test the lock several times to ensure it locks and unlocks correctly via the app or other configured methods.
